The National Housing and Homelessness Plan Issues paper was released by Housing and Homelessness Minister, Julie Collins on 7 August, 2023 to start the consultation period with written submissions due 20 October, 2023.

The 10 year Plan will be developed in 2023 and is expected to be released in 2024. To support this process Homelessness Australia has developed a key messages and submission guide to inform submissions and developed a series of consultation and briefing events on different topics related to homelessness.
